Bleiakku ist nicht gleich Bleiakku - Häufig werden in Segelflugzeugen AGM-Akkus verwendet, die eigentlich für den Einsatz in Alarm-, Brandmelde- und USV-Anlagen konstruiert sind. Sie sind also so konzipiert, dass sie nach langen Standzeiten mit dauerhafter Stromzufuhr zum akuten Schadensfall Strom liefern müssen und nicht im Dauerbetrieb mit permanenter Be- und Endladung im Einsatz sind.

Für Avionikbatterien im Segelflugzeug ist diese Beanspruchung aber absolut gegeben und eine Batterie mit entsprechender Eigenschaft notwendig. Daher empfehlen wir Ihnen für diesen zyklischen Einsatz im Segelflugzeug unsere AIRPB-Reihe speziell für die Ansprüche der Bordstromversorgung in Ihrem Flugzeug getestet.
