THIESEN ERB-UL - Electronic Rotating Beacon

By using the latest generation of light emitting diodes and low profile construction, Thiesen has developed an Electronic Rotatic Beacon with a very bright, brilliant red light and circulation characteristics, while maintaining low power consumption.

Like all LED position lights / ACLs, the ERB-UL is of course fully waterproof and seawater resistant. All electronics are completely integrated in the lamp - so no "black box" or additional control unit is required.

In addition to the intelligent synchronisation, a FLARM interface has been integrated into an anti-collision light for motor-driven UL aircraft to increase visibility and thus safety in the airspace. By means of signals from a connected power FLARM device, the distances of the light pulses emitted by the ERB-UL are changed in such a way that the attention potential is significantly increased.

As in other ACLs, the ERB-UL is encapsulated in highly optical, scratch-resistant plastic. This means that the space required is fixed with its dimensions.

The extremely bright, red rotating light flash has an omnidirectional light angle of 360° and is visible 30° below and above the horizontal plane.

The light is pre-wired for easy connection to a four-core cable with a minimum 1.5/0.25 mm² conductor cross-section. Easy mounting is achieved by flange fixing and bonding by means of silicone to the fuselage or rudder. Installation instructions and the heat shrink tubing required for installation are included with the all-round light.
