Description
The handheld radio FTA-750L is approved according to EN 300 676-02 and is an ideal companion for pilots and air sports enthusiasts. With this handheld radio, voice radio in the aeronautical band 118 - 136 MHz 25/8.33 kHz grid and 5 W transmitting power is possible. To make operation as easy as possible, up to 200 memory channels can be freely programmed. Each channel can be given a name of up to 15 characters. This way, all important frequencies can be found quickly. The robust keypad allows quick frequency selection and offers direct access to the emergency frequency 121.5 MHz.
A USB programming cable is included in the scope of delivery. This, together with the free YCE01 software from Yaesu, makes memory management very easy and allows you to change setups quickly.
In addition, this model offers the option of navigation via VOR. The large and easy-to-read LC display shows the Course Deviation Indicator (CDI) of a typical VOR-NAV device. The model is also equipped with an ILS glide path indicator and a GPS receiver, offering even more navigation options. It can navigate by waypoint, display the glide path of the instrument landing system, and more. The GPS receiver of the FTA-750L is a modern 66-channel receiver that also supports the reception of WAAS DGPS correction signals. The respective GPS position can be stored at regular intervals (logger) and the position data can be read out later using the YCE01 software, which is available free of charge.
The FTA-750L also offers many features that make daily operation in practice very easy. For example, the large display and the keypad are illuminated and can be dimmed so that they are easy to read at night without being dazzling. The housing is waterproof according to IPX5. The loudspeaker output is powerful enough to be heard even in noisy environments. Extensive accessories are included to make the aircraft radios easy to use in all conceivable situations.
