OGN

OGN steht für Open Glider Network - ursprunglich entwickelt um das Auffinden vermisster Flugzeuge zu erleichtern.

Die Positionsdaten der Flarm-Systeme von Flugzeugen werden über die OGN-Antenne empfangen und über den OGN-Receiver z.B. Geschwindigkeit, Höhe, Flugroute, Position und etliche weitere Angaben an die OGN-Datenbank übermittelt. In Echtzeit lassen sich nun die ganzen Daten online abrufen und ermöglichen so z.B. Fluglehrern Ihre Flugschüler einfacher und genauer zu Überwachen. 

Es können außerdem über das Verwaltungsprogramm von Vereinsflieger.de die Flugdaten ganz einfach in die Flugdatenerfassung übertragen werden und bietet so eine wesentlich einfachere Abrechnung der Flüge für den Verein.
