OVP 15.2 X LiFePO Overvoltage Protection
The OVP 15.2X is a resettable overvoltage protection for controlling a load relay in order to be able to switch larger currents. It is looped into the charging line via a load relay to protect the LiFePO4 on-board battery from overcharging in the event of a control failure by the controller rectifier. The trigger voltage is set so that LiFePO4 batteries can be protected with it.
Functional Features:
The OVP has an output for controlling a load relay which switches off the generator line when a voltage of 15.2V is exceeded. The OVP has an output to control a load relay that disconnects the charging current from the battery when the trigger voltage is exceeded. As soon as the battery voltage has dropped below 12 V, the relay drops out and the battery can be charged again. A trolley lamp or LED can be connected to indicate this. Also a reset button in case the fuse has tripped unintentionally.
