Specially adapted for aeronautical radio and the conditions at airfields, the very loud 1500mW audio output with great frequency response provides perfect speech intelligibility in all situations.
Easy to use
Another outstanding feature of the IC-A16E is the easy one-handed operation, due to the combination of the particularly small and light housing of the ICOM IC-A16E with clearly labelled large keys and robust rotary knob. The keypad and display are backlit for easy operation even at night. Recommended by the Wasserkuppe flying school.

The modern 7.2V Li-Ion battery allows up to 17 hours of normal use.
