Description
The handheld radio FTA-450L is approved according to EN 300 676-02 and is an ideal companion for pilots and air sports enthusiasts. With this handheld radio, voice radio in the aeronautical band 118 - 136 MHz 25/8.33 kHz grid and 5 W transmitting power is possible. To make operation as easy as possible, up to 200 memory channels can be freely programmed. Each channel can be given a name of up to 15 characters. This way, all important frequencies can be found quickly. The robust keypad allows quick frequency selection and offers direct access to the emergency frequency 121.5 MHz.
A USB programming cable is included in the scope of delivery. This, together with Yaesu's YCE01 software, which is available free of charge, makes memory management very easy and allows setups to be changed quickly.
The FTA-450L also offers many features that make daily operation much easier in practice. For example, the large display and the keypad are illuminated and dimmable so that they are easy to read at night without dazzling. The housing is waterproof according to IPX5. The loudspeaker output is powerful enough to be heard even in noisy environments. Extensive accessories are included to make the aircraft radios easy to use in all conceivable situations.
